Company green areas

Respect for people and the environment are the pillars on which our investment strategy is built. The fight against the climate crisis, the preservation of biodiversity and water resources are international priorities, and these issues assume great importance in urban areas where 68% of the world’s population will be concentrated by 2050.
In order to respond concretely to these challenges, among the strategic activities implemented for some time now at Pedrollo, we have increased our urban green areas at the production sites located in San Bonifacio and Monteforte d’Alpone (VR), planting more than 27,000 plants including trees, bushes and shrubs as well as allocating more than 38,500 square metres (an area larger than five football pitches) to green areas.
To assess the impact of this activity, we involved ETIFOR, a spin-off of the Università degli Studi di Padova, specialized in the environmental and sustainability sector.

As the study highlights, the group’s strategic choices have been able to combine entrepreneurial vision, industrial efficiency and financial virtuosity. We are proud of this result which confirms the group’s constant growth trend and rewards everyone’s passion and work.

Journalist Anne Bodescot visited the Pedrollo company in San Bonifacio, just outside Verona, and interviewed Giulio Pedrollo, CEO of Pedrollo Group: “Being a 4.0 company means having advanced processes to improve production and reduce working time.

The mentality and resources of a family business allow us to look to the future by allocating 15% of our turnover every year to research and development to implement a constant transformation of the company culture and the way of making innovative electric pumps without giving up our values.

Gruppo Pedrollo: winner of the 2022 Leonardo Da Vinci Award

This morning, framed in Venice’s splendour, the eleventh Leonardo da Vinci award was assigned to Gruppo Pedrollo. Luigi Brugnaro, mayor of Venice, presented the award to Giulio Pedrollo, the Group’s Managing Director.

“This day has a particularly deep meaning for me and my family: the Leonardo da Vinci Award is, in fact, the first international recognition assigned to Gruppo Pedrollo.

Although in the past the single companies belonging to the Group have received numerous awards, today, thanks also to the affirmation of our strategy of internal growth and external add-ons we are living an important page in our history which gratifies the wilfulness of family-run companies in the desire to transmit their heritage and their values to future generations”, affirms Giulio Pedrollo.

The award, co-founded by the Les Henokiens Association and the Château du ClosLucé, aims to promote family entrepreneurship as a model of dynamic and sustainable growth, reflecting the values of its creators.

Italian water pump giant eyes further expansion

Giulio Pedrollo, CEO of Pedrollo SpA and Pedrollo Group, on Newsweek says “We represent “Made in Italy”, which is an efficient, beautiful product of high quality at the right price.” For almost 50 years Pedrollo has been expanding worldwide, and continues to design and build pumps that help carry water where it is needed most, including to homes, agricultural fields or industrial facilities. “Treating water with respect is the best way of understanding our group. We want to respect water, which means a lot of things in relation to our products: including using stainless steel, better materials, and overall how we produce water pumps.”
